B.0 How this contract is made
- The contract is made when, at the first launch of the Filvia beta, you tick both boxes and press Continue. Before that you can read these terms and the Privacy Policy, and you can go back or close with no consequences (“I don’t accept, close Filvia”).
- We keep the version of the terms you accepted and the date. You can always read, save and print them from this page; earlier versions are available on request at hello@filvia.app.
- The terms are available in Italian and English. We do not subscribe to any specific code of conduct.
- If you made a mistake in the request form (for example your email), write to us and we’ll correct it before sending your key.
B.1 Who we are
Filvia is an AI assistant for Windows, developed in Forlì, Italy. Filvia’s provider and your contracting party for this beta is Print and Pixel Lab, registered at Via Eugenio Bertini 92, 47122 Forlì (FC), Italy, email hello@filvia.app. In these terms, “we” means Print and Pixel Lab.
Your contract is solely with Print and Pixel Lab, which is responsible for it.
B.2 Who can take part
- You must be 18 or over and have received a beta key from us. The beta is invite-only: we decide who gets keys and in what order, and we don’t have to send one to everyone who asks.
- If you use Filvia for your business, you also accept these terms on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to do so.
- You may let young members of your household use Filvia on your PC, under your own responsibility and supervision. Children under 14 need the consent of a parent or guardian (Italian Law 132/2025, art. 4). AI provided by Filvia (B.7) is for use by adults only.
B.3 Free, from 15 October, until it closes
- The beta is free. We never ask for a card or any payment, and nothing renews automatically.
- It starts on 15 October 2026 (from 10 October 2026 for creators, see B.9) and runs until we announce it is closing. We currently expect to close it when Filvia launches, planned for 31 October 2026, but we may close it earlier or later. We will give you at least 7 days’ notice by email or in the app, except in the urgent cases in B.11.
- You can withdraw at any time, at no cost and without giving a reason: uninstall Filvia or write to us; if you like, ask us to delete your data.
B.4 Test software
The beta is test software, not a finished product. It may contain bugs, lose features between versions, stop working, take actions other than the ones you asked for, or fail to recognise an important action. Filvia is designed to ask your permission before deleting, sending, paying or accepting terms, but in the beta this check can fail.
So please: work on copies of important files and keep backups; never give Filvia the only copy of something that matters; check what it did, especially for documents, money, health and legal matters; use “Stop everything” if something goes wrong.
Through a separate checkbox at first launch, you expressly accept that the beta is test software: in particular, that it may contain bugs, lack some of the features described on the website for the final version, have interruptions, and not receive updates after the beta closes.
Filvia uses artificial intelligence: AI answers and actions can be wrong, incomplete or made up. Filvia always tells you that you are interacting with an AI.
B.5 Warranties and liability
- The beta is test software with the characteristics described in B.4, which you expressly and separately accepted. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
- If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you that cannot be excluded or limited, including those on the conformity of digital content, except for the deviations you accepted in B.4. We do not limit our liability to you beyond what the law allows.
- If you use Filvia for your business, within the limits of Article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of data, profits or opportunities arising from your use of the free beta.
- In no case do we exclude or limit liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, for defective products, or wherever the law does not allow it.
B.6 Your beta key
- Your key is personal and non-transferable: you may not sell, give away, lend, publish or share it.
- It works on one PC at a time. You can release the PC in settings and use it on another PC, within the allowed number of changes.
- Filvia checks the key with our server when you activate it and regularly while the PC is online: this is strictly necessary for it to work (see section 3-bis of the Privacy Policy).
- We may deactivate a key that is shared, published, used on several PCs, misused, or for security reasons (B.11).
- When the beta ends, the key is paused: it isn’t deleted and may work again in future betas, if there are any.
B.7 AI provided by Filvia (limited places, up to a cap)
- Filvia needs an AI model. Normally you use your own key from an AI provider (you pay that provider under your own agreement with them) or a local model on your PC.
- For a limited number of places (about 20, chosen by us) and for the creators in B.9, we provide the AI: Filvia uses our account with the AI provider (currently Anthropic, with Google as a fallback: see section 3-ter of the Privacy Policy) and we pay the cost. We tell you by email and in the app whether your place includes AI provided by Filvia.
- AI provided by Filvia has a spending cap: currently €1 a day and €2.50 in total per tester, for at most 14 days from the first request (for creators, B.9 applies). A place that doesn’t use the provided AI for 7 days becomes free again. You can see your usage in Settings › Your AI. A cap may be exceeded by at most the last request in progress, at no cost to you.
- When you reach the cap: the provided AI stops until the next day (daily cap) or for good (total cap). Filvia shows you a message; we never charge you and you don’t need to do anything. You can carry on straight away with your own key or a local model. Unused credit does not roll over, is not refunded and cannot be exchanged for money or anything else.
- We choose the model used for the provided AI and may change it.
- The provided AI is a free benefit to try the beta, for personal and testing use. Don’t use it on your clients’ or other people’s data for work: use your own key for that.
- We may lower the caps, close new places or switch off the provided AI for a justified reason: budget exhausted, abuse, security, or the provider stopping or changing its terms. We tell you in the app and, where possible, by email beforehand; you can carry on with your own key or a local model. For creators, B.9 applies.
- When using the provided AI you must also follow the AI provider’s usage policies (Anthropic, Google). If you breach them, we may remove the provided AI immediately.
- The provided AI ends in any case when the beta closes.
B.8 Fair use: what you may not do
The restrictions in section 6 of the Terms apply. In addition, during the beta you may not:
- share, sell or publish your beta key, or let others use the provided AI;
- extract, copy or use outside Filvia the connection to our server or the provided AI (for example via scripts, other programs or direct calls to the server), or try to get around the spending caps;
- use several keys or identities to get more provided AI;
- use Filvia to create malware, spam, fraud or illegal content, to harass or harm people, or to access computers, accounts or data without permission;
- use the beta for critical services where an error could cause serious harm to people or property (for example industrial plants, medical devices, safety systems);
- decompile, modify or reverse-engineer Filvia, or get around its licence checks, except where the law expressly allows it;
- publish security vulnerabilities before reporting them to us: send them to hello@filvia.app and don’t exploit them.
B.9 Creators
If you are a creator and we invited you, the Creator Terms also apply. In short:
- you get your beta key early, from 10 October 2026, before 15 October;
- the AI provided to make your content is a benefit we grant at our discretion and is not an acquired right. We tell you the cap (in euros) and the period by email when we activate it. Once activated, the AI key stays available until the cap is used up (within the period stated in the email), even if the collaboration ends, except in case of abuse, breach, security issues or the provider stopping it. After that, B.7 applies;
- you and we may end the collaboration at any time by email;
- from launch you get 6 months of Filvia Pro free: this covers Pro features only, not AI. The 6 months start from the Pro launch or, if you join later, from activation, with no card and no automatic renewal;
- you don’t have to publish anything, or say anything positive. We don’t pay you and we don’t ask you to say things you don’t believe;
- if you publish content about Filvia, you must clearly and immediately disclose it as advertising: “#ad”, “Advertisement” or “in collaboration with Filvia” in the first line of the caption (among the first three hashtags if you use them) and, in videos, on screen or spoken at the start; plus the platform’s “paid partnership” tool. Outside Italy, use your country’s label;
- you may not present Filvia as a finished product or promise features the beta doesn’t have;
- any cash fee exists only under a separate written agreement with Print and Pixel Lab.
B.10 Automatic technical reports (only if you choose them)
- At first launch Filvia asks whether you want to send us automatic technical reports, with two equally prominent buttons: “Yes, send technical reports” and “No, thanks”. Nothing is pre-selected and the beta works the same either way.
- If you choose “Yes”, Filvia automatically sends us: errors and crashes, the place in Filvia’s code where they happen, step timings, the AI provider and model used, Filvia and Windows versions, processor, memory and graphics-card category, and app language.
- Reports never contain your files or their content, file names, what you type or say, screenshots, AI replies, Filvia’s memory, your keys or passwords. Filvia cleans them before sending and our server cleans them again.
- You can change your mind at any time in Settings › Beta. With automatic reports off, you can still send us a report manually after reviewing it, or export it.
- Details, retention and your rights: Privacy Policy, section 3.
B.11 Suspension, closure and end of services
- We may suspend or close the beta, a feature or the provided AI for a justified reason (technical or security reasons, budget, decisions of the AI provider, closure of the program), with the notice in B.3 or B.7. Without notice only where needed for the security of you, others or the systems, or to comply with the law; in that case we explain why as soon as possible.
- We may suspend or deactivate your key if you seriously breach these terms (in particular B.6 and B.8): where possible we write to you first and let you explain; immediately if there is a security risk or abuse of the provided AI.
- When the beta closes: your key is paused (B.6), the provided AI stops, and the app shows that the program is paused. Your files and Filvia’s memory stay on your PC. Data we hold is kept and deleted as set out in the Privacy Policy.
- Moving to the final version is not automatic: the final version will have its own terms, which you can read first.
B.12 Your feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or reports, we may use them freely to improve Filvia without owing you a fee. If you’d like to be named in the credits, we’ll ask you first (form checkbox).
B.13 Confidentiality
You are free to talk about, show and review the beta. We only ask you not to publish your key, personal download links or security vulnerabilities that haven’t been fixed yet.
B.14 Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms during the beta only for justified reasons: changes in the law, in AI providers’ terms or infrastructure, security, the provided-AI budget, new features.
- We will tell you in the app or by email at least 7 days before changes take effect (except changes required by law, urgent for security, or only in your favour). If you don’t accept them you can withdraw at no cost before they take effect.
- Changes do not affect AI you have already used or the 6 months of Pro already promised to creators.
B.15 Law and disputes
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and the courts of the place where you live have jurisdiction. If you act as a business, the courts of Forlì have jurisdiction. Before going to court you can write to us: we’ll try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
